Respiratory issues often require an immediate response. In this course, you will learn how to use, store and monitor respiratory aids.

Learning Outcomes:

After completing this course, you will be able to:
  • Demonstrate the use of equipment such as oxygen concentrators, portable or ambulatory oxygen systems, CPAP machines, compressors and nebuliser compressors
  • Describe their storage and maintenance
  • Know how to monitor the use of this equipment and implement trouble shooting strategies

This course is suitable for experienced care staff, registered nurses and managers.
