Activities of Daily Living: Oral Hygiene
By completing this course you will discover why good oral health is important and learn how to assist with the maintenance of oral hygiene.
After completing this course participants should be able to:
- Define oral health and identify the risk factors
Explain the consequences of poor oral hygiene
- Implement strategies for preventing poor oral hygiene
- Assist an older person with the cleaning of their teeth and/or dentures

This course is appropriate for all staff working in home care who support people with activities of daily living.

Up to 8 hours can be earned completing this course.
